CALL FOR CONFERENCE ABSTRACTS
Salam Institute for Peace and Justice and the University of Jordan, Amman
Deadline to submit: October 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET.
Salam Institute for Peace and Justice, in collaboration with the University of Jordan in Amman, is hosting a conference on social and interpersonal forgiveness research and practices on March 29–31, 2027. We invite researchers, scholars, and practitioners to submit abstracts for consideration to present at the University of Jordan campus in Amman. Each abstract should describe a completed study, present its key findings, be clearly written, and align with one or more of the conference themes listed below.

Submission Requirements
Each abstract submission must include the following components:
- An abstract (maximum 500 words) describing the study’s conceptual or theoretical framework, objectives, methodology, key findings, and relevance to one or more conference themes
- A clear explanation of the geographic focus and relevance of local forgiveness practices, where applicable
- A brief statement of the study’s potential contribution to research, policy, practice, or community impact
- All submissions and conference presentations must be in English

دعوة لتقديم ملخصات الأبحاث للمؤتمر

الموعد النهائي لتقديم الملخصات: 30 تشرين الأول 2026، الساعة 5:00 مساءً بتوقيت شرق الولايات المتحدة (ET)
ينظم معهد سلام للسلام والعدالة، بالتعاون مع الجامعة الأردنية في عمّان، مؤتمرًا حول أبحاث وممارسات المسامحة والمغفرة الاجتماعية والشخصية، وذلك خلال الفترة 29–31 آذار 2027.
وندعو الباحثين والأكاديميين والممارسين إلى تقديم ملخصات أبحاثهم للنظر في مشاركتها وعرضها في جامعة الأردن في عمّان. وينبغي أن يصف كل ملخص دراسة مكتملة، وأن يعرض أبرز نتائجها، وأن يكون مكتوبًا بوضوح، وأن يتوافق مع محور واحد أو أكثر من محاور المؤتمر الواردة أدناه.

متطلبات تقديم الملخص
يجب أن يتضمن كل ملخص مقدم العناصر التالية
ملخصًا بحثيًا (بحد أقصى 500 كلمة) يوضح الإطار المفاهيمي أو النظري للدراسة، وأهدافها، ومنهجيتها، وأبرز نتائجها، ومدى ارتباطها بمحور واحد أو أكثر من محاور المؤتمر.
توضيحًا واضحًا للنطاق الجغرافي للدراسة وأهميتها، ومدى ارتباطها بممارسات المسامحة المحلية، حيثما ينطبق ذلك
بيانًا موجزًا حول الإسهام المحتمل للدراسة في مجال البحث أو السياسات أو الممارسات أو أثرها على المجتمع
هو منظمة غير ربحية تعمل على تعزيز التدريب في مجالات حل النزاعات، واللاعنف، والتربية المدنية، والتماسك الاجتماعي. أسس المعهد الدكتور محمد أبو نمر، وهو باحث بارز في مجال السلام وبناء السلام. ويعمل معهد سلام مع مجتمعات متنوعة في مجال بناء القدرات، وتصميم التدخلات في مجالات حل النزاعات واللاعنف والتربية المدنية، وتيسير الحوار بين الأديان
